GAWL to Waive Membership Dues for Law Students

The Georgia Association for Women Lawyers' (GAWL's) mission is to enhance the welfare and development of women lawyers and to support their interests. GAWL realizes that the global pandemic has affected each and every one of us in some unique way.

GAWL exists to support, empower, and uplift women lawyers and law student across the state. In many regards, our law students have been affected the most by being displaced and having job and internship offers rescinded. In addition, many of them have seen an increase in tuition this year. Unprecedented times call for unprecedented measures. To that end, in an effort to support our law students, the GAWL board has voted to reduce membership dues for female law students to zero for the 2020-2021 board year. We encourage female law students across the state to join us or renew their membership in the year of W._.O.W! (Women Empowering, Uplifting, and Supporting Other Women) as we provide programming, networking, mentoring, and leadership training and opportunities to our members in a new and exciting platform.

Join or renew at www.gawl.org/join. We hope to see you at a virtual GAWL event soon!
