Jessica Felfoldi is an attorney with Atlanta Legal Aid Society’s Disability Integration Project. Jessica represents individuals with physical, mental, developmental, and age-related disabilities to enforce their civil rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act and related state and federal laws. Jessica began her legal career as an Equal Justice Works Fellow at Atlanta Legal Aid. Her fellowship project, sponsored by Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, focused on the rights of Georgia’s nursing home residents who sought to rebuild their lives in their own homes and communities. Jessica continues to represent nursing home residents as well as individuals with disabilities in the community and in Georgia's state mental hospitals.
Jessica is a founding board member of and currently serves as the Vice Chair/Chair-Elect of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Public Interest Law Section. She is a member of LEAD Atlanta’s Class of 2014, an intensive eight-month leadership development and community education program targeted at promising young professionals in the Metro Atlanta area. Jessica has served as a pro bono guardian ad litem through the Dekalb Volunteer Lawyer Foundation and is a violist with the Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra.
Jessica received her law degree from Emory University School of Law. In recognition of her longstanding commitment to serving others, Jessica received the 2011 Humanitarian Award for Emory University and the A. James Elliott Community Services Award for the Emory Law Class of 2011.
Jessica holds a B.A. in History and English and a minor in French from Northwestern University.
