Stacey Dougan
I am a psychotherapist, speaker, and consultant in private practice in Atlanta, Georgia, where most of my clients are high-performing professionals who demand a great deal from themselves while coping with challenges around stress and anxiety, depression, relationships, work-life conflict, perfectionism, and parenting.
Beyond my clinical practice, I frequently speak and present at workshops and continuing education to bar associations, law firms, and legal organizations regarding lawyer mental health, wellbeing and self-care. I serve as a member of both the Georgia Bar’s Lawyer’s Assistance Program and the ABA Law Practice Division Attorney Well-Being Committee.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 20 years as a lawyer and member of senior management at Big Law firms, first as a shareholder and assistant general counsel at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, and then as the Chief Professional Development Officer at Powell Goldstein, LLP (now Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner).
