My practice has always focused primarily on estate planning, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, probate, estate and trust administration, estate and trust dispute resolution, and charitable gift planning. While I work with clients of all types, I have developed particular expertise in working with high net worth families, families who own successful businesses, blended families, gay and lesbian couples, and unmarried straight couples.

Our firm's practice focuses on sophisticated legal work for people who need tax, business, or estate planning related help. I work with a number of small-to-mid-sized privately held companies as well as with many individuals. My practice areas include Wills, Trusts, Probate, Estate and Trust Administration, Tax Planning, Tax Controversies, Estate Dispute Resolution, Business Law (dealing with partnerships, corporations, and limited liability companies), Charitable Gift Planning (which includes creating charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, private foundations, and supporting organizations), and Charitable Organization related work.
In the past, I have been a member of the Board of Directors and a past Chair of the Estate Planning & Probate Section of the Atlanta Bar Association and a member of the Atlanta Bar Association's CLE Board of Trustees. For 2024, I am serving in my first of two years as the President of the Estate Planning Council of North Georgia.
