GAWL Foundation supports AVLF's Saturday Lawyer Program

The GAWL Foundation is looking for volunteers to join AVLF’s Saturday Lawyer Program (SLP), an Atlanta institution for over 40 years. AVLF SLP is a Saturday morning clinic that assists low-income Atlanta residents with landlord-tenant disputes and unpaid wage claims.

Volunteer attorneys will interview one or two potential clients to assess the strength of their claims. If the case has merit, volunteers are encouraged (although not required) to accept the case for representation. Extensive training and ongoing support is available to every volunteer.
