Annie Jordan is the current VP of Communications and the immediate past President of GAWL. She has been passionate about GAWL since joining in 2013 after passing the bar exam. Throughout her membership, she has held various positions, including VP of Public Affairs, VP of Strategic Partnerships, Chair of Strategic Partnerships, VP of Membership, President-elect in 2022, and President for the 2023-2024 term.
Annie's dedication to GAWL is driven by the supportive relationships she has formed with like-minded women. By engaging in leadership roles and attending events like the Annual Kick-off Party, she has built a strong network. Annie says, “The support and encouragement I've received have helped me recognize my worth, celebrate my achievements, and create a network where we can connect, share experiences, and collaborate—which is crucial for fostering professional growth and personal development.”
Annie also emphasizes the importance of organization for professional and personal development. Each morning, she plans her tasks and projects on a whiteboard, scheduling them hourly. This practice provides a visual timeline and promotes a realistic approach to productivity.
