GAWL's Legacy Run/Walk 5K

In celebration of Women's History Month, GAWL invites you to the GAWL Legacy Run/Walk on March 21, 2026, at Westside Park. This community 5K run/walk is a recreational and charitable event designed to promote wellness, foster community engagement, and recognize leadership within GAWL.In addition to the 5K, we’re hosting a 1-mile Kids Fun Run, so bring the whole family!

Registration includes race entry, race bib, and a finisher's medal. Participants may choose to run or walk along our designated route, followed by light refreshments, sponsor tables, and an awards ceremony featuring the presentation of the Inaugural GAWL Legacy Award. Whether you run or walk, join us for a meaningful morning that reflects GAWL’s commitment to connection, service, and celebrating a legacy of excellence.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the GAWL Foundation and the GAWL Leadership Academy. The GAWL Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports access to justice and community service initiatives through scholarships for female law students, grants, pro bono programs, and community outreach. The GAWL Leadership Academy is GAWL’s premier leadership development program, providing training, mentorship, and professional development to women attorneys across Georgia to prepare them for leadership roles in the legal profession and public service.

RACE PACKET PICKUPS:

All race materials can be collected during check-in the day of the race.

In addition, GAWL members and race participants are invited to join us for early race bib pick-up and waiver signing for the 2026 GAWL Legacy Run/Walk!

VIRTUAL TICKETS:

You can complete your 3.1 miles anywhere you'd like and at your own pace.
Treadmill, the park, on the beach... It's your choice! Please email your results to info@gawl.org to receive your Legacy Certificate!

There is plenty of free parking inside the park.
