Nicholas House GAWL Dinner Series

14 Apr 2020
6:00pm - 8:00pm EDT

GAWL is committed to serving dinner to the residents of Nicholas House on the second Tuesday of each month.  Nicholas House is a homeless shelter for families with minor children in Grant Park, Atlanta.  We welcome members and non-members of GAWL to volunteer.  Children ages 15 and up are also welcome.

The GAWL Foundation Community Service Committee needs volunteers to purchase and serve dinner. Food should be set up by 6:15 p.m., dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends around 7:30 p.m., and clean up should be done by 8:00 p.m. You can use Nicholas House's commercial kitchen to prepare and/or heat up the food. There needs to be enough food to feed approximately 45 residents (~15 adults and 33 children). Volunteers will know the final headcount before their shifts.
