GAWL/MTC Know Your Rights Presentation

On March 10, 2022, GAWL President elect, Valentia Alleyene of the Alleyene Firm, LLC, will serve as GAWL's featured guest speaker for the GAWL/MTC Know Your Rights Series.

The topic for this event is Fair Housing and the Landlord Tenant Relationship. The GAWL/MTC Know Your Rights Series is intended to provide substantive and informative presentations on legal topics that will affect the female residents of the Metro Transitional Center (MTC) post release.

The MTC houses approximately 300 non-violent female felony offenders, providing transitional programming and services that aid in a seamless release and greatly reduces the chances of recidivism.
