The GAWL Foundation Donation Campaign!

Please leave your mark on the community by making a contribution to the GAWL Foundation Donation Campaign funding scholarships and grants! 

The GAWL Foundation and its predecessor, the GAWL Scholarship Fund, have awarded over $200,000 in scholarships to women law students in Georgia since 1993. Every year the GAWL Foundation also awards grants to Georgia nonprofits that provide free services, especially legal services, to women and girls, especially those in the legal system.

We need your help to build on tradition and continue the GAWL Foundation’s important work! Please make a donation of $100, $250, or even $500 to fund future scholarships and grants. While donations at any level are greatly appreciated, all donors who make a single gift of $1,000.00 or more will be named as a Founding Trailblazer and recognized throughout the coming years on this Giving page and at GAWL and GAWL Foundation signature events. The Ruth and Ruby Crawford Endowment Fund

The GAWL Foundation named its Endowment in honor of two women who were true pioneers in law and instrumental in the history of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, Ruth and Ruby Crawford. The Ruth and Ruby Crawford Endowment Fund to benefit the GAWL Foundation will carry on the legacy of these two amazing women. Contributions to the Ruth and Ruby Crawford Endowment Fund will lead to additional and sustained funding for scholarships for deserving women law students in Georgia as well as grants to other charitable organizations throughout the state. 

The Ruth and Ruby Crawford Endowment Fund provides long-term support for the Foundation and its mission, including: (1) encouraging women's legal education by funding scholarships for deserving women law students; and (2) encouraging philanthropy by women attorneys in Georgia by making direct donations to other non-profit organizations with whom we then strive to partner with to provide community service opportunities to our membership. 

Having created the Endowment in 2006, we are now determined to grow the Endowment at an ever increasing rate so as to provide the resources for even greater influence of the GAWL Foundation in the future. Donations to the Endowment Fund can be made  here. Thank you for your support!
